Hiya! Welcome to your proverb serie. Today I’m showing you a proverb that looks paradoxical at first, but it isn’t. Let’s get into it straight away.
Suppose you want to start a website but you can’t build it yourself. So you approach two of your friends, both of them are capable of doing such work. One of them has a lot of free time and is happy to help you out. The other one however is quite busy and may help you if you can’t find anyone else. Now which one would you pick for the job? Most people would go for the first one. Right? However there is a saying that recommends something a bit different.
If you want something done ask a busy person! Quite interesting. Huh. Why would anyone want to ask a busy person to do something for them. It just sounds nuts, well. Let’s think about it a bit. If a person isn’t busy it might bee that he’s lazy or nobody asks him for help. Maybe because he doesn’t work well enough. Whereas a busy person is just the opposite. He’s always in the move and never stops. He wants to live his life always doing things or making things. His time management also needs to be efficient after all he’s quite busy. He manages his time wisely and can tell you exactly when the work will be completed. So if I needed a website I would go with the second guy.
Remember if you ever want something done ask a busy person!
